About Us

I have been involved in the world of purebred dogs since I was a child. My mother, who has now retired, was a highly successful breeder/exhibitor of many breeds, including Labrador Retrievers, Portuguese Water Dogs, Cocker Spaniels and Doberman Pinchers. She later became a well respected international judge and judged at the Westminster Kennel Club show many times, including two group assignments. She was qualified to judge nearly every breed and was invited to judge in six countries abroad.

Not surprisingly my interest in the dog world was piqued at an early age. I studied and watched and in time I decided the breed for me was the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I bred and showed Cavaliers for a number of years and knew that one day I would be open to taking on the challenge of researching another breed to widen my experience in pure bred dogs.

I was invited to meet my first Tibetan Spaniels at a local dog show and it was love at first sight. These endearing little dogs took my breath away and I was determined to learn all I could about this charming breed. After much research, I purchased my first Tibbie and so the story goes on from there.

I now have several champions, including home bred, whom I have used in my breeding program to develop my own line of healthy, well bred Tibbies. I strive to maintain the original features so highly sought after in the Tibbie. Featured on the following pages are some important points of interest on our beautiful breed. I hope you will enjoy reading them and become an enthusiast.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Tibetan Spaniels.
